Olaf Sporns, Indiana University, Department of Psychological and Brain Science, Bloomington, USA
Olaf Sporns received a PhD in neuroscience from Rockefeller University and is currently a Professor in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Indiana University Bloomington. His research focus is computational neuroscience and network theory, with an emphasis on uncovering the network principles that underlie the architecture and function of the human connectome.
Sporns is author of the recent books “Networks of the Brain” and “Discovering the Human Connectome” and serves on the editorial boards of over ten scientific journals. In 2011, he was awarded a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship and became a Provost Professor.
